Hey Divas. Fashion Addict is here with a new topic.Black and white was the summer’s hottest fashion trend, but it’s going to be even bigger this fall. Here’s how to wear it now, how to wear it in fall and how to make the transition between the seasons.
What makes black and white particularly enticing is the idea that it doesn’t require a great deal of commitment or cash—everyone has at least one solid black and one solid white piece in their closet, right? Plus, it’s not particularly trendy so wearers won’t run into the issue of feeling as though they’re buying into a fad with a clear-cut expiration date. To that end, if you’re looking to invest in a new piece for fall, make it a sharp white blazer: It’ll instantly freshen up your basic black shorts, skirts, dresses, and trousers.
As we move into fall, white will fade to black, and soon enough, we’ll be pairing our black pants with black jackets, snuggling into black knits and topping everything with a black coat. This fall, black really is the new black.
Patterns are huge right now, and the best way to make a statement is with a big, bold graphic in black and white. Strong stripes, groovy geometric and dramatic bands of black and white all look very fresh and of the moment. So does colour blocking, especially when you add a pop of bright color to black and white. Best of all, you can use this look to highlight the good bits (with white) and minimize the not-so-great (with black).
Summer: Pair your graphic prints with white.
Fall: Pair your graphic prints with black.
I present you these styles that can easily be all over the runways of New York Fashion Week. You can make your own black and white combination and be up to date with the newest fashion trends.
