7 Places to Buy Cute & Cheap Workout Clothes

Having cute workout clothes always helps me stay motivated to get to the gym. If I’m going to sweat, I might as well look good doing it! However, what’s not so cute is the way new active-wear drains my bank account. Excuse me, Lulu, but money doesn’t grow on trees! At least not in my backyard. If you’re looking for a new workout ensemble that’s adorable and cheap, try these inexpensive options.
1. Forever 21
I know what you’re thinking. Just walking into that place is a workout. But it’s worth it, trust me! They have a variety of tops, bottoms, sports bras, and accessories in trendy colors, styles, and prints. Most of the clothing ranges from $5-$20. You can dress yourself head-to-toe for less than the price of one pair of Lululemon pants. You may be hesitant about the quality, but customer reviews say their items have lasted up to a year.

2. Old Navy

Old Navy is awesome. Where else can you get two pairs of flip-flops for $5? I shouldn't have been surprised that they had great deals on workout clothes too. Find colorful tees and tanks, basic leggings, yoga pants, and comfortable sports bras. Not only will you find great stuff for yourself, they've got active-wear for your man too.

3. Target
Target’s C9 by Champion collection is fab-u-lous. Not only are the clothes comfortable and flattering, they also come in a wide variety of colors and styles. No matter your workout style, you’ll find something here. And while you’re there you should stock up on other workout essentials: ponytail holders, deodorant, socks, sports bras... it’s all there!
4. Walmart
Look no further than this low-price mega-store for cheap workout gear. Yoga and dance apparel maker, Danskin, makes a line especially for Walmart called Danskin Now. You won’t find extra “bells and whistles” on the apparel, like hidden pockets, but do you really use those anyway? My favorite pair of workout shorts (I’ve had them for 2 years and they’re still in spectacular shape) are from the Danskin Now line.
5. Nordstrom Rack/TJ Maxx/Marshall's
When large-name stores can't get rid of items that are last season, they give them to places like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, and Nordstrom sends their products to Nordstrom Rack. Recently I was at Nordstrom coveting some Zella workout leggings. They were cute, but not worth the steep price. At my next stop, Nordstrom Rack, I found the same pair of leggings in capri style (even better) for $20.
Kohl's carries quality products like Nike, Adidas, Champion, and so much more. The prices may not vary drastically from items you can find elsewhere, but Kohl's always has insane sales, discounts, and special offers which make these name-brand products cheap, cheap, cheap. Also for every $50 you spend, you'll receive $10 of Kohl's cash... it's free money!
7. Gap
GapFit is a little more expensive than the other clothing options on this list, but sometimes it’s okay to splurge without going too far overboard. Their clothes fit comfortably and will last for a long time. Gap employees will be sure to assist you in finding the right gear for your style and type of workout.
