It's the final month of summer, so it's time to soak up some sun! These days will be over before you know it, but August is one of the best months of all. Get in one last BBQ, music or food festival and maybe even get in a baseball game or two. If you want to make sure you're getting the most out of the month, see what's left to do off our summer bucket list! There's just so much to look forward to in August.
Back to School
If you're lucky enough to still be in school (trust us, you're lucky!), you'll be heading back around the end of August. This means catching up with friends about your summer break, getting a new set of classes, and enjoying the warm weather left on your campus. There's so much excitement when you get back to school, it's contagious!
Fall Fashion is Revealed
Alright, so we might not be too excited about the weather cooling down, but we love fall fashion! Leather jackets, scarves, boots...oh my! We can't get enough. What do you think will be the breakout trend this fall?
September Magazine Issues
They're full of fall fashion and usually big, fat double issues -- just how we like them. We'll be spending these last days at the pool devouring every one of them.
There are loads of silly holidays to celebrate. Here are our favorites:
August 4: Sister's Day
Whether you're lucky enough to have biological sisters or you celebrate your sorority sisters like they're your own, tell those ladies you love them today. You've had years of fighting with them, borrowing their clothes, and complaining to your mom about them to celebrate!
August 5: S'mores Day
If you haven't made a s'more yet this summer, do it today! You've got no excuse but to indulge in the chocolate, graham cracker and marshmellowy goodness.
August 15: Best Friends Day
Do something special for your bestie today. Buy them a card, bake them some cupcakes, or surprise them with one of their favorite things. We don't know where we'd be without these ladies.
August 19: Cupcake Day
Because we totally need more excuses to eat cupcakes. Right?
August 26: Women's Equality Day
Think about how different your life would be if you grew up in the 50s or even if you lived in a country presently that didn't see women as equals.
