10 Best Celebrity Ombre Hairstyles

The verdict is in and ombre hairstyles are here to stay for fall 2013. Hairstylists don’t see the popular hair trend going away anytime soon, and thank goodness because it’s one of my favorites. Before heading to the salon to get your ends dip dyed, check out our list of 10 best celebrity ombre hairstyles.
1. Best Brunette Ombre: Lily Aldridge
Lily Aldridge isn't just famous for gracing the pages of Victoria's Secret magazines. This supermodel has the most sought after ombre hair on the planet. In an interview with Elle Canada, she said her #1 secret is her hairstylist, Tracey Cunningham. But an appointment with Ms. Cunningham at the Meche salon in Beverly Hills will cost you somewhere near $450. Whoa. Instead, go to your trusted colorist and ask to keep the roots dark while lightening the rest of the hair (starting about mid-shaft) using the balayage coloring technique.
2. Best Blonde Ombre: Lauren Conrad
What's not to love about Lauren Conrad? She's gone from Laguna Beach reality star to acclaimed fashion blogger, fashion designer, and Instagram maven. For those of you that thought ombre was just for brunettes, think again. We adore Miss Conrad's blonde ombre locks. She shares her tips for highlights on her blog.
3. Best Bronde Ombre: Jessica Alba
The "bronde" ombre is one of my personal favorites. Bronde (brown + blonde) is a perfect hair color for any skin tone. Jessica Alba takes the award for "Best Bronde Ombre." Her honey colored locks are absolutely flawless. Get the exact formula to achieving her look, and other celebrities hairstyles, by visiting CelebrityHairColorGuide.com
4. Best Long & Luxurious Ombre: Khloe Kardashian
I'm loving Khloe Kardashian's face framing ombre locks (and her new rockin' body). With Kim in hiding, and Kourtney taking care of her 3 children (Scott, Mason, and Penelope), Khloe's been receiving some much deserved attention. Khloe's hairstylists, George Papanikolas' best tip is to not lighten all the ends. Instead he suggests targeting various piece to give a multi-dimensional effect.
5. Best Short & Sassy Ombre: Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung is a jack of all trades. This model, television host, blogger, and fashion muse has recently been named a L'Oreal spokesperson. Not only do we love her for her great sense of fashion, and too cute British accent, she's also got great hair. Her short and sassy ombre hairstyle is edgy and effortless.
6. Best Natural Ombre: Whitney Port
We're not exactly sure what the former The Hill's star, Whitney Port, has been up to lately, but we do know that her natural ombre hair is stealing the show. We're not sure if she spent hours in the salon or in the sun, and that's why we love it.
7. Best Red Ombre: Ashley Greene
You may know her best from playing Alice in Twilight, but she's most recently being recognized for her twist on the traditional ombre look. If you've always wanted to go red, but weren't sure where to start, take a hint from Ashley Greene's red ombre hair. It's phenomenal. This hairstyle is ideal for brunettes. You'll get to keep your base color white integrating red highlights for a cinnamon shade.
8. Best Caramel Ombre: Rachel Bilson
If you're looking for the perfect ombre to transition from summer into fall, this is it. Rachel Bilson's caramel colored locks are sultry and sexy. As dark roots start to appear and your summer color starts to fade, don't worry! This is actually the look you're trying to achieve. It's so low maintenance.
9. Best “Barely There” Ombre: Minka Kelly
Minka Kelly's ombre hair is so subtle, we're not even sure if it's ombre. If you're not sure about the ombre trend, try something simple like this.
10. Best Ombre with Bangs: Olivia Wilde
Another hair trend for this fall is bangs. We've seen them on Kim K, Michelle Obama, and a plethora of other celebrities. She does an excellent job of combining two hair trends, without looking over-the-top.
