5 QUICK FIXES FOR POST-SUMMER BEAUTY CONCERNS

quick fixes for beauty concerns
Ah, summer, the coconut-scented season of sandy toes, salt-water strands, and sun-kissed cheeks. While we’re despondent to see the lazy haze of summer slip away, we’re also left with a very real beauty hangover that needs immediate remedying (and unfortunately the hair of the dog won’t work this time around…). Here are 5 fixes for those post-summer beauty ailments that may have you feeling a little worse-for-wear.

Sun Spots

Dark spots are one of the first indicators of sun damage; so post-summer is the perfect time to reach for products that will fade them. Keep slathering on the SPF but also add a brightening serum that will even out your skin tone to your daily regimen.

Scorched Strands

Sun, salt water, and chlorine can strip away moisture and pigment from your hair. Make sure to give your strands some extra TLC by incorporating a weekly deep moisturizing mask or daily recovery spray.

Calloused Feet

Flat sandals and strolls on the beach can cause major callouses on those pretty feet of yours. To keep your skin fresh and soft, first exfoliate with a scrub and then slather on the lotion liberally. We like to use a foot-specific product for maximum softening results.

Dry Lips

Your pout can be just as damaged by the sun as the rest of your skin, so summer can sometimes come with some lip-chapping consequences. To get your pucker back to prime shape, exfoliate your lips with a sugar scrub or even your toothbrush and seal in the soft skin with your favorite lip balm.

Body Acne

Humidity and sweat are known to join forces in causing some unwelcome body breakouts. To combat any blemishes, suds up with an acne-fighting body wash in the shower.
